Overview
You are the perfect fit for us. Connect with our community and make new friends by volunteering and/or interning your time and talents. We’re looking for people who are interested in helping out with programs, events, or even administrative stuff. If you feel that you have something to offer TEL HI, please let us know!
Here are some examples of what our volunteers/interns do:
- Help children with their homework in our after school programs
- Serve meals for our Senior Lunch Program
- Offer a workshop for adults or lead a class
- Help with garden upkeep (our garden is lovely)
- Teach gardening in our children’s programs
- Help out in the office (our office is lovely-ish)
- Help with one-time fundraising and community events
Current opportunities
Build Mask Kits with our partner MakeMePPE
- Sign up to build mask making kits, cut fabric, and quality control for final masks here
- Find other ways to help create and distribute Personal Protective Equipment across the Bay Area by filling out this application
Serve Meals with Us and Our Partner SF Marin Food Bank
- Package meals for food-insecure families with us and our partners at SF Marin Food Bank
Data Entry for Emergency Childcare
- Help out with data entry for our preschool’s emergency childcare for emergency workers like medical personnel
How to apply
Volunteer/intern opportunities are always available as we always welcome anyone who wants to help out. If interested, please fill out our application and you can expect a reply with 5-7 business days. However, if a current opportunity contains an application link, simply apply there directly.
