Program and Location Highlights:

  • A playground and large indoor gymnasium where our children move their bodies and develop important social and cognitive skills that are learned during physical play!
  • A teaching garden gives our children the opportunity to learn about where fruits and vegetables come from and to be a part of the process of growing and harvesting their own food!
  • Health and nutrition are an important part of our program. We provide a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack made from locally sourced ingredients free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors and sweeteners because we believe healthy eating habits start now.  To learn more about the food we serve click here!

“We love TEL HI! Our son started at TEL HI 's North Beach campus in the Starfish Classroom at 7 months. My anxiety as a parent melted away as we were greeted by Head Teacher Tram and Teachers Mary Jane + Perla and Judy. The TEL HI campus is clean, safe and designed with intentionally. The low shelves are great for curious little ones to grab toys, the floors are padded with thick, wipeable foam area rugs, there is an adorable table that children sit around (buckled in) to eat their meals with a dedicated sleeping area in the back of the classroom. The playground was recently renovated and there is a great turf area that's dedicated to the Starfish classroom for our little ones to safely crawl around. The teachers are invested in our son's learning and development. We see this from the loving notes, observations and suggestions they give us on a daily basis around our son's needs and things they encourage us to try, but also the skills our son has developed over the last few months.”

“We have been a part of the TEL HI community since November 2021 but in those short months, our family has noticed a huge difference in our daughter and have been so pleased to see her in the Starfish Classroom. Our 1-year-old isn't old enough to talk yet but just watching how she acts when she's being dropped off, and how comfortably she jumps into the teachers' arms, I know she is thriving under their care. Our daughter is so social, confident, and happy at TEL HI and I am so thankful for all of the teachers and admin staff for this amazing gift.”

“Our son has been at TEL HI for a little over a year and we are so pleased with our experience. He started at 7 months old in the Starfish classroom. The Starfish teachers are absolutely wonderful, including Head Teacher Tram, Teacher Judy, Teacher Perla and Teacher Mary Jane. They are very vigilant about any food issues and accommodating any special requests needed. They give each child individual attention and make them feel special. He just made the transition to the next classroom level, Guppies, and is doing great. He is happy to be with many of the same children that he made friends with in Starfish. They have daily outdoor time on the newly renovated playground and on walks around the neighborhood. The tuition includes 3 meals each day which is also an amazing value. We're so happy to have TEL HI in our neighborhood!”

“My 2 year old child loves going to TEL HI for daycare. The teachers and staff are so caring and the parents are so friendly here. I liked that food is included in the monthly cost and I like knowing my child is getting a well rounded nutritional meal each day based on his age. My son gets to try so many different foods and they even get to make homemade smoothies and popsicles with fresh fruit throughout the year in a learning environment. They have a large indoor gymnasium, so whenever it rains all the kids still get to play outside of their classrooms. Many of the parent hang out with other parents from their child's class to make neighborhood friends. It's one of the few schools I heard that has a community feel compared to other facilities. They just remodeled the outside playground and made a grassy area for the infants, so they can crawl around outside and it looks great! I would recommend TEL HI to any parent who lives in the neighborhood.”
