Saints Peter and Paul Church sits across from Washington Square Park. Often referred to as “La cattedrale d’Italia ovest” or “The Italian Cathedral of the West,” it plays home to the prominent Italian-American and Chinese-America Roman catholics in the area as well as serves as the set locations of popular movies such as The Ten Commandments and Sister Act 2.
