TEL HI Partners with Ben & Jerry’s for 15th Annual Free Cone Day

This spring, ice cream lovers across San Francisco will have an extra reason to celebrate. Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center (TEL HI) is proud to once again partner with Ben & Jerry’s for the 15th annual Free Cone Day, turning a beloved tradition into a powerful opportunity to give back.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, guests are invited to visit participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops in North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf to enjoy a complimentary cone, while supporting TEL HI’s vital programs and services. During Free Cone Day, volunteers will be onsite collecting donations, ensuring that every scoop served helps strengthen the community.
This event is made possible each year thanks to the incredible support of community partners and volunteers. In past years, TEL HI has proudly collaborated with organizations and groups including Turner & Townsend, Academy of Art University, McCarthy Building Company, U.S. Bank, PCS Technology, Recology, the North Beach Business Association, North Beach Neighbors, USF THETA Sorority, and local preschool families from our North Beach and Mission Bay sites, along with corporate and community partners such as the Argonaut Hotel, Pier 39, and Levi’s, as well as TEL HI Board Members and staff. Last year, even District 3 Supervisor Danny Sauter rolled up his sleeves to scoop ice cream in support of the cause, and he has been invited back to join us again this year!

Guests are encouraged to bring $1 or more to donate while enjoying their favorite Ben & Jerry’s flavors. Every dollar raised directly supports TEL HI’s programs, helping provide critical resources for children, families, and seniors across San Francisco.
Get Involved
Community members looking to take a more active role can volunteer during the event. Opportunities include scooping ice cream, managing lines, and assisting with donation collection. Volunteers can sign up for 2-hour or longer shifts by contacting:
