TEL HI Connects Nearly 300 Older Adults with Essential Community Resources
This past Saturday, September 12, more than 200 preregistered guests, an additional 150 community members, and 28 partner organizations came together at TEL HI North Beach for our free annual Aging & Older Adults Resource Fair.
Presented by San Francisco Health Plan, a local health plan dedicated to improving health outcomes across San Francisco, along with the SF Police Community Foundation and SFPD Central Station, the event connected attendees with local providers offering healthcare, insurance, technology, legal, caregiving, disability, and other valuable support. Community sponsors included Home Match SF, a free program that connects people seeking housing with homeowners who have extra space, and SCAN Health Plan, a nonprofit Medicare Advantage health plan focused on helping older adults stay healthy and independent.
