New Logo & Web Site for TEL HI

October 3, 2014

As we embark on TEL HI’s 125th anniversary year, we’re excited to present a brand new logo and Web site to you. While it seems only fitting to update these things for our 125th birthday, we like to think these changes reflect TEL HI’s roots, how we’ve grown, and all the great things still to come!

Here’s the “inside scoop” on how these changes came about:

For our new logo, we kept the concept of “home,” because ultimately TEL HI is a hub for the community—a second home, if you will. We also added a heart to reflect the hearts of the people, participants, volunteers, and supporters of TEL HI. It’s heart that makes TEL HI special and keeps us all going. We also embraced “TEL HI” as our new name. It’s the name everyone already uses, and we find that endearing.

In redesigning the Web site, our priority was to make it easier to stay connected with you. We wanted to communicate information about our programs, services, and events more effectively. That’s essential to TEL HI’s mission. We also wanted to share the experience of TEL HI and what being here feels like. We hope you’ll find this and more, including the following:

  • All the latest news and program updates
  • A new event calendar
  • Work and volunteer opportunities
  • Information on hosting your own event here
  • More photos and videos to capture the TEL HI experience, including “125 Days of TEL HI

We hope you enjoy this new-and-improved way to connect with your neighborhood center! Thanks to Buchanan Design for our logo and Web site redesign. And thanks to you for staying in touch and supporting changes that reflect TEL HI’s growth over the past 125 years.
